There are many blogs out there that want a Christmas card in July. Well okay, but I just can't seem to wrap my arms around Christmas this time of year. However, I should! Christmas will be here in no time. I am already seeing Christmas merchandise in stores!! Yikes!
With that said, I am going to be playing along with Sunday Stamps, Anyhoo, here is my card for today, enjoy!

| The stained glass look of the partridge and the pear tree seemed to be perfect for Sunday Stamps challenge. It was stamped in black, embossed in silver, and colored using Distress Oxide Inks and an aqua pen. |

| Above: The layout is from a past sketch challenge I saved on Pinterest. I thought it was perfect for this card. Below/Left: Notice the absence of plain cardstock. I wanted to play with patterned paper and visual texture and still achieve a beautiful design. Bottom/Right: Looking at this panel directly it reminds me of a window panel you would see in a church. |
