One fish, Two fish...

 Hello Everyone,

For today I will be playing along with Time Out Challenges and Color Hues. I love this color combo and thought I would join in the fun. So here is my card for today, enjoy!

Of all the fish in the sea.... The message is simple as is this one-layer card. I started with a turquoise card base. Placed a sunray stencil and brushed it with white pigment ink to create the sun rays. I also added a bit of turquoise at the bottom of the card stock for a sense of depth.

The fish were stamped using Abandoned Coral Oxide ink. I added layers of colored pencils to highlight the fish and the area around them.

Another picture of the fish and some of the added layers.

Challenges Entered:

Color Hues: TCH #24- Turquoise & Coral

Time Out Challenges: #125- Colored Card Base

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. Lots of good crafting vibes are headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and healthy.

Metro Cruise

 Hello All,

For today I will be playing along with The Paper Players. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

Hello from the state that brought you the Motor City... Michigan. This weekend we celebrate Metro Cruise. This is a car event that showcases cars from past to present.

The auto theme follows thru to the background which features a road map stamped in gray. I used Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness for the color.

I stamped the Corvette using charcoal ink. This allowed me to use the shadows the stamp provided when coloring consistantly with red Copic.

Complementary

 Hello my CMHCD friends,

For today I am sharing our next challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare. This is an interesting challenge because it involves the color wheel we all know, love, and adore. Today we will be concentrating on complementary colors. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

This modern geometric card was made from a stamp by Concord & 9th. It is part of their Turnabout series of stamps. This card is the 6th or 7th generation using the geometric stamp. I am here to tell you this is not at all as easy as it looks on videos. I have spent lots of frustrating hours trying to get it right. This one was my best try with this stamp. Others I own are much easier to get a satisfactory product but this one eluded me!

This complementary color combination made a fantastic Father's Day card.
Blue and orange are a wonderful combination for the masculine modern aesthetic.

I bordered the design with a rose gold border
and the same with the sentiment.
