Regarding Dahlia

Hello Readers,

For today I am playing along with Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge and Just Us Girls flower theme challenge. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I think the black border frames in the composition nicely.
Any thicker or thinner and it wouldn't have worked.

Just Us Girls: JUGS #333- Word Week: Flowers

   

I am not a gardener; in fact, I really dislike it. However when I venture out on a walk I admire their beauty and complexity and also the gardeners that tend to them. So I wasn't sure what color to give the Dahlia. A quick Google search took care that! So much so I was bombarded by the diversity of these flowers.. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors!! You have your Single-flowered dahlias, Anemone-flowered dahlias, Collerette dahlias, Waterlily dahlias, Decorative dahlias, Pompon dahlias, Ball dahlias, Semi cactus dahlias, Miscellaneous dahlias, Fimbriated dahlias, Single and Double Orchid dahlias, Peony-flowered dahlias!! The size of these flowers vary greatly too, from tiny micro dahlias with flowers less than 50mm (1.96inches) to giants that are over 250mm (9.84inches) in diameter (Source). These are some incredible flowers! Maybe someday I will get one and tend to it... Ha.. Who am I kidding! I will just keep admiring everyone else's who knows what their doing..
