I am writing on behalf of MHKDesigns to announce the new April release stamp sets and digital papers are being revealed! For the next five days we will have an inspiration card from each set. Here is my inspiration card for today! Enjoy!
Eat Your Cake stamp set is full of fun sentiments that go well with the cake image. |
April Release Day one: Eat Your Cake |

Showing the inside of the card with a sentiment from Eat Your Cake stamp set. The feel of this card was inspired by Dr. Seuss children's book 'Oh, the Places You Go'. |
A close up view of the cake, embossed background, and the acrylic panel at the bottom of the card. |
This image reminds me of a children book named 'Oh, the Places You Go!' by Dr. Seuss. I must have read this a thousand times, no exaggeration! I memorized the book so well I would have to recite it in the car while driving. The cake reminds me so much of what Dr. Seuss would draw. It is what inspired me to color this card by using the palette from 'Oh, the Places You Go!'.
Once again MHKDesigns has decided to have a give away! You can have a chance to win the ENTIRE release! All you have to do is comment on our blogs for a chance to win! Go to MHKDesigns Blog for more details.

Very fun card!
ReplyDeleteHi Shawna, I have read that book too, while babysitting, but I can totally understand about being able to recite books, as a Pre-K teacher you hear or read many stories repeatedly, love the drawn image inside your card and the acetate edge a great card for a kid big or small, short or tall, sorry too many kiddie stories ;-) Thank you for the fun and inspiration... Megan
