Poppies Please

Hello! and welcome back to the final day of MHKDesigns April stamp set and digital paper release! Here I am featuring the stamp set Perfect Poppies. This is my favorite set from the release. The image of poppies is obviously so pretty but the sentiments their set fonts is what won me over. Again, very versatile and beautiful. Here is my card for tonight, enjoy!
Look at this gorgeous image! These poppies are so beautiful.
Printed out the image on kraft paper. White washed the flowers with
white ink and water. After it was dry I colored the image with colored pencils.
The black border was done by simply drawing around the border with a
bold tip marker.

    Shawn, I love the effect here of the poppies on the Kraft paper and the white wash followed by colored pencils. It's so soft and pretty! Thanks for the inspiration!

    You have really rocked this new release, Shawna - you have made such wonderful cards - every one so beautiful and artistically made!!!! And this last one is another GREAT card, my friend!!!! Your poppies look amazing - the colouring is fabulous - I want to reach out and touch the delicate flowers!!! The sentiment in the circle with the black border and the black border on the outside really have everything pop wonderfully!!! What a lovely card!!!
