Watery Scene

Hello Readers,

For today I am playing along with CAS(E) the Sketch. Here is my card, enjoy!

Brusho's watercolor was used to create the vivid background.
I really wanted to saturate the color so I dampened the paper and
added the pigment directly on the paper. Then saturated the paper with water
to let the color move around.  Dried it than added water to lift some color off the paper.
The sentiment was done using Tsukineko Kaleidacolor
ink making the ombre sentiment very easy to do.

I used only white elements for embellishment as not to compete with
the watery background.

Another gray day here in Michigan! So I thought it would be perfect to add this card to my blog and brighten things up a bit. Blue, and better yet, aqua-blue is one of my favorite colors so this card made me happy thinking of this summer; camping, visiting Lake Michigan, hiking, just having an all out great time! We shall see...

Well that should do it for me. Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again at TheGrandStampede. Take care all and happy crafting.

All the best,
Shawna
