For today I am playing along with City Crafter Challenge, The Paper Players, Cards in Envy, and Addicted to Stamps & More. Here is my card for tonight, enjoy!!
These ghoulish friends are taking an adorable selfie. Notice the witch is a bit too tall to fit in the frame. |
Chevron washi tape was used to add a bit of interest. I also like the mixture of patterns as well. |
A close up of our little friends. Bugaboo was having a store wide 70% sale a few weeks ago. I couldn't resist these little guys. The sentiment is a sticker I had in my stash. Perfect for this card. |
City Crafter Challenge: Week #331- #Selfie
(Just a note: This is possibly the cutest inspiration ever! Seriously, it completely cracked me up.)
Cards in Envy: 'Frame It' card challenge
Addicted to Stamps and More: Challenge #213- Holiday
The Paper Players: PP315- Happy Halloween
Sixth grade would be the last year for trick-or-treating. I was getting a bit old but, to me, it was still fun to go into town knocking on doors for candy. That year was especially plentiful for I had a twin pillowcase filled to the brim with candy!
I do need to mention that that year I was a hippie for Halloween. All styled with tons of beads, peace earrings, and my grandmothers awesome poncho (I would give my eye teeth for it today).
Oh man, happiness was mine!! That was until a high-school student stole my candy right out of my hands; pillowcase and all... I ran after him as fast as could but all my groovy accessories prevented me from catching him. So here I was empty handed all my hard work begging door-to-door has gone to waste. Plus my grandmothers pillowcase from her favorite sheet set was gone as well. That night I came home in tears, well sobbing actually. My dad must have felt horrible because the next thing I knew I had twenty dollars in my hand.
Well that should do it for me.. I do hope you enjoyed your visit and the card for today. I do hope to see you soon. Until next time take care and happy stamping, y'all.
All the best,
Shawna

ReplyDeleteThis just made me smile, Shawna. Those images work great as a selfie, especially the ghost with her tongue hanging out. Why do they do that? And the too tall witch. Hilarious. Thanks for sharing your card at Addicted to Stamps and More.
