I have decided to use two of our sponsors for this hop, Beccy's Place and Great Impressions. Here are my cards for today, enjoy!
sponsor for the holly plant image:
This card was created using Becky's Place holly plant from the set - Blessings of the Season. The sentiment was in my digi stamp stash and not sure where it came from. However, it seemed fitting for this design.
I used the colors from the inspiration photo. I noticed the stark white against
the yellow'ish wall. This element was used for my card. |
It is so hard to capture with a photo but I used a cotton ball and dry embossing to give the vase a bit of dimension. Run your fingers across the vase and you feel it pop up. |
AND...
sponsor for the wreath and sentiment images:
This inspiration photo shows a beautifully decorated hearth. This horizontal element is what I wanted to accentuate for this design. |
Again the manilla color against the stark white remains the theme for this card too. Bits of holly peek out and framing our sponsored wreath and sentiment images called - Stylistic Wreath (wreath) and Magical Day (sentiment). Below you will find detailed photos of the wreath image. I wanted to maintain the color palette from the photo inspiration throughout the card. So I stamped and colored the wreath using red to create a no line image. I decided to break up the sentiment for balance. The bow had to have a bit of sparkle and the single enamel dot adds just enough color to bring your attention back to the border of the same color. |
And now, here's your hop order~
Now get to hoppin'!
Your next stop is Shirley's Blog!
Don't forget to link up a project with us after completing the hop for an extra chance to win a mystery prize from one of our fabulous sponsors, too! HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
