For today I will be playing along with The Paper Players and CAS-ual Fridays. Both challenges were so fun to create together to form one design. Here is my card for today. Enjoy!
I decided to create an ombre stave that matches the colors of the treble clef. |
Glitter note sticker couldn't have made this card simpler to make! Adding the black paper for the background seemed to balance out the design. |
As you will read later this card looks a whole better than it sounds. It sounds nothing like the sentiment, but it does look nice! 😁 |
Challenges Entered:
I know nothing, not a lick, about music. When I look at a sheet of music all I see are symbols, pretty arches, and treble clefs; which by the way, have no idea what it means. However, I do have a trick up my sleeve. My son knows how to read music and play the piano. So after making this card, I asked him to play the notes on the piano. I'm here to tell you it looks better than it sounds. I have a recording of it but I can't seem to attach it to this post. Bummer, you all are(n't) missing out.
Well, that should do it for me. Thank you for joining me today! I have one more post later today so until then, take care and happy stamping!!
All the Best,
Shawna
Shawna this is fabulous! Love the ombre treble clef and sparkly notes, just perfect for a music lover. Wonderful interpretation of the sketch, too. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Paper Players!
