For today I am playing along with CAS Watercolour Challenge and The Flower Challenge. Here is my card for today, enjoy!!
Simple watercolor background with all the colors of Spring. |
This cluster of flowers was heat embossed in white. I then sponged a darker color around the flowers to allow them to pop a bit more. |
Challenges Entered:
CAS Watercolour: March2017- Spring
The Flower Challenge: #6- Anything Goes
All the best,
Shawna
Love the flow of your watercoloured background, Shawna. So pretty with those white embossed flowers. Adding just a little sponging around the flowers really makes them pop. Great save on the sentiment too! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
ReplyDeleteI love the gorgeous water color wash background, this is something I struggle with, I always end up with a muddy mess.
ReplyDeleteBut you did an amazing job with all those lovely colors that make your embossed flowers really stand out.
I'm so happy you were able to save your card after you stamped the sentiment.
Thank you for sharing with THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, I hope you play again next time.
Hugs,
