The "stripes" on this card are composed of crumbling color pastels. This technique is relatively easy and design is very beautiful when finished.

Here in the United States July is kind of a big deal- by "kind of" I mean a huge deal. On the fourth of the month, we celebrate our Independence. A time to reflect and remember that our freedom comes with a price. Brave soldiers fought and died to keep us free. I am forever in your debt and am immeasurably grateful for all those in uniform and their families who have to endure time away from their loved one. So I think while I celebrate with I am going to take a moment of silence and thank them for all they for our country, thank you
