For today I will be playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch, Just Us Girls, Retro Rubber Challenge and The Paper Players. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
Texture abounds with this card! There is visual texture from the background digital paper from MHKDesigns to the colored stained glass harvest panel. Tactile texture is also not ignored. The twine, stitched panel within the dimensional tag, vellum and the die-cut sentiment are all examples of how tactile texture was integrated into the design. |
The focal image was stamped using the MISTI, which comes in handy later, then colored using white ink and applied with an aqua pen. Colored over the image using polychromo colored pencils and then stamped over the image again using the MISTI. |
The single word sentiment says it all. With a bountiful harvest, you can't help but feel blessed. This die cut is a smaller part of a larger die from Papertrey Ink. |

ReplyDeleteI love the look of the colored pencil over the white. I'm going to have to try that! Beautiful fall card and perfect for The Paper Players Challenge this week ~ thanks for sharing!

This is gorgeous! I don't even remember this SU set, I had to go look it up! The way you colored it is just wonderful! The white really sets it off! So glad you shared it with us for my challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteHey, Shawna! Your card is lovely as always! What a gorgeous stained glass holiday card. Love it! I don't find the age of the stamp on your post, which is required for us to consider you for our Top Picks. If you can add it somewhere on your post, that would be great! Thank you for playing with us at Retro Rubber and hope you will be able to join us again soon.
ReplyDeleteShawna what a fabulous card! I love the colouring on white and stained glass harvest window. Thanks for sharing your creation with us over at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful this is! The stained glass stamp is glorious on its own, yet you've made it even better with white and colouring. Thank goodness for a MISTI! Thank you so much for joining in at both Retro Rubber and The Paper Players this week.
