| The butterflies were colored using metallic watercolors. I believe they're Perfect Pearls. It doesn't show very well in the photo but the shine and shimmer are magnificent. |

| Above: I used blues and its complementary color oranges to contrast the panels. I think using complementary colors works really well for this design because it shows the differences between the panels yet still keeps the image intact. Below/Left: The black sentiment strip divides the card quite nicely. Bottom/Right: This photo is an example of Perfect Pearls. Its shine on the butterflies is beautiful but not overwelming. |
