School is now in full swing here in the U.S.A. So, I thought I would celebrate it by well.... making a card. I already need to make an apology card for my son's teacher and I thought this card would be perfect. I will also be playing along with AAA Cards, Cards in Envy and Addicted to CAS. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
This one layer card as a surprising amount of dimension. One example is the embossed stitch marks at the edge of the card. Just enough detail for interest and keeping your eye inside the card space. |
The apples were colored using watercolor pencils, paintbrush, and a bit of water. I kept the apple middle very basic and neutral. I did not want to convey a brown apple center. |
