Feather of Hope

Hello All,

For today I am playing along with CASology. Here is my card today, enjoy!!

The feather outline was done a few days ago. My son and I had a school project we were working on and when he was done I gobbled up all the paint with an extra piece of paper. 

I die cut another feather the same color as the backdrop. I thought it looked a bit sparse and it needed more texture not splatters.
The black you see under the feather isn't black paper but black velvet. It feels so fantastic.
I am sure the recipient will love it!!
