For today I am entering challenge from The Paper Players and CAS on Friday. Christmas is just a heartbeat away, so I better get into high gear. Here is my card for today. Enjoy!
I chose black for my background to contrast the modern element (black) with traditional Christmas elements (holly). The best part, it only took me thirty minutes to produce. |
The holly stamp was embossed with white and then colored in using white pigment ink and an aqua pen. The 'splatters' were stamped using the same pigment that I used to color stamp and color the holly. |
You may not see it in the picture but I diecut the sentiment with adhesive fun foam. I chose to use the sticky side to adhere to the letters, not the card. I used liquid adhesive to attach the foamy letters to the card base. The liquid gave me some time to move around the letters to achieve alignment. Worked beautifully! |
