Crayons

 Hello Everyone,

For today I am playing along with Sketch Saturday Retro Rubber Challenge and The Paper Players. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

All I did was pop this card into my MISTI and stamped the image.
Colored the crayons using polychromo pencils and put the panel on an A2 card.
I liked using the polychromos because of its transparent quality.

This was a very simple and easy design that I am going to replicate for other teachers.
I like the whiteness around the colorful crayons. The sentiment is right on theme for the card too.

I wanted the apple to have a blackboard quality. So I distressed it using white pigment ink around the edges. Then stamped the sentiment and traced over it to mimic chalk handwriting.

  2. OH MY GOSH!! I love this so much! Who doesn't remember that fresh box of crayons on the first day of school!!! I might have to check this stamp out myself!! So happy you shared it with us at the Players AND Retro Rubber!
