Hello All,
The other day I ran into a video from Jennifer McGuire in regard to a technique she called 'dotting'. Linked here. I remember did an entire project back in college using this technique. So for today, I will be playing along with Freshly Made Sketches and Color My Heart Color Dare Challenges. Here is my card for today, enjoy!!
The tropical flowers add a nice boundary for the stippled beach. The beach consists of three sand colors and two water colors. I wanted to leave some white between the beach (brown) and the water (blue) to suggest white ocean foam.
The tropical flowers and ocean/beach were colored using various alcohol markers. Stippling with alcohol markers is very relaxing and easy to do with results that I think are pretty pleasing. |
You see the blue stipple that radiates out to a thinner consistency then fading into white then the beach. |
