Hello CMHCD Friends!
Welcome to another challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
The colorful panel is part of a larger sheet that was made by sponging Oxide Inks on cardstock. I then used an oldie (but goodie) grunge stamp from SU to 'splatter' the background. |

The acorn was die cut three times. I applied gold cream and three jewels to the top of the acorn. I thought it added some texture that is known for Autumn. |
Well, thank you again for taking the time out of your busy day to visit my corner of the internet. I do hope you will join us at Color My Heart Color Dare and play along.
Such an intricate design. Did you make the paper?
ReplyDeleteI love your card!!! The background is gorgeous. The detail on your die cut is beautiful and lets just the right amount of color come through. Great use of our colors!
ReplyDeleteGreat background, it captures all the colours of the inspiration photo! And the acorn die cut is just a perfect match! X
ReplyDeleteThat acorn thin cut is the cutest thing ever! I love it & love how you embossed the top with gold. And that background paper...yummy!
ReplyDeleteLove that die cut against your beautiful sponged background...love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the splattered background and the gold on top of the acorn!
ReplyDeleteLove your background! I think you’ve captured all the colours from the inspiration photo there. The die cut acorn is a perfect match to the autumnal theme also. X
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling card Shawana! Love the shaker design and that gorgeous colorful background! P.S. The comment you left on my project to enter the challenge was from back in February of this year, so I didn't want to enter an old creation in your challenge, but I'm now following your challenge and hope to play along! Thanks for stopping in! HUGS
ReplyDeleteWow - that background is terrific! Love the acorn as the focal image - so perfect for autumn :)
