Today I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches. This monochromatic was created using bleach and a stencil. I will explain in a bit. First, is my card for today, enjoy!

| This stencil technique blew me away! It all starts with a baby wipe and DI ink. Add the DI ink to your card base place a stencil and then a baby wipe on the DI'ed cardstock; run it through a die-cut machine and you will have a textured piece of cardstock. The open spaces from the stencil will react to the wet baby wipe and leave a lighter version of the ink you added. |

| In this case, however, I spritzed the baby wipe with bleach and ran it through my machine using black cardstock. At first not too much and then as it dried my eyes started popping out of my head with amazement. The bleach took effect and turned into what you see now. Just beautiful! |

ReplyDeleteThis bleach and a stencil technique really produced a fantastic card. Awesome color and textures formed a very clean line CAS card.
