Today I am playing along with The Paper Players, Daisy Chain, The Flower Challenge, and Challenge Up Your Life. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

| The Peddlers Pack stamps never disappoint. Their stamps are of excellent quality and the large images cover a card nicely. They also have a nice shadowing effect using stippling as part of the design. |

| I simply colored the crocuses and lilacs in shades of purple using alcohol markers as a base. I then added watercoloring and some colored pencils for detail. |

| The sentiment is so fitting for this card. I wanted a border but didn't want to obstruct the colored image so bordering it with vellum seemed to have made sense. |

Michigan has had a stretch of nice weather lately. My husband and I decided to take advantage of the warm weather and take a walk during lunchtime. While walking in the woods I came upon a pile of brown leaves surrounded by snow. That is when I noticed it... a bunch of Crocuses. Oh my, I couldn't have been happier. Things are getting better and I am hoping this is a sign of a new fresh start.
