We Are Going To Make It After All!

 Hello Everyone,

Today I will be playing along with The Paper Players challenge. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

This stamp reminds me of the Mary Tyler Moore show. I know I am aging myself but the end of the opening song it says 'We're going to make it after all!' (Sorry for the earworm). Anyway I see her in the big city trying to find her way. That is why I picked such an encouraging sentiment.

The sketchy quality from both stamps are so beautiful together. Amazingly, The girl and the NYC skyline are stamps from two differnent companies.

I also wanted to play on some color and line weights. The lady was stamped multiple times to create a more defined black image. Even though the skyline is one stamp I used a gradiant stamping technique to create darker lines up front and lighter lines as you move into the city.
I also used color to create a sense of depth.
A darker gray was used in the foreground while a light gray wash was used in the back ground.

    1. Hello Nancy!! Not ignoring you just took a few days to track down the NYC image. It is by Technique Tuesday called New York. However, I don't think they make it anymore. Maybe used on ebay or etsy. They do however have a scene similar to the NYC on their website. Check it out.
