Hello All,
It has been a while since I played The Flower Challenge so I thought I would throw my hat, or card, in the ring! Enjoy!
I wanted to make a terrarium card. Meaning I added a lot of dimension to the hexagon before adding the magnolia flower. I created the shaped border by taping two hexagons die cuts together and cutting them all at the same depth. I think the effect is wonderful. |
This card is actually very small. I would estimate two inches squared with the hexagon poking over the top. It is a perfect little hello for someone special. |
I used five hexagon shapes to create the 'terrarium'. I then placed the magnolia behind the hexagon. Sandwiched two other layers before adding the blue background. I think this picture depicts exactly how many layers are involved. |
