Hello All,
Today I will be playing along with The Paper Players, Time Out Challenge, and The Color Throwdown. This card links to my last post meaning it was a discarded piece that was resurrected to make this delight. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
This card was one of the cards I discarded because the base flowers were stamped in a color that was much darker than intended. I set it aside and tried again with a lighter shade of gray. After brushing on the color I thought it was too blah so I added the floral details in white and black from the Altenew stamp set, Dainty Bouquet. |
I like the black acting as an accent or highlight color. I think using the white and black dye inks was a good choice. |
The sentiment is extended from the main base of the card. It does however, it does fit comfortably into an A2 envelope. |
