Ballerina on Ice

Hello Everyone,

There is a new challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog! For this week the theme will be 'Anything but a Card'. It is my forte to make cards so this was quite the challenge for me as a design team member. So what did I make?

Printed her two times reversing one image then sandwiched them together!

I made a ballerina skating on a snowflake thingy. How am I going to use it? I thought the same thing! I think I may go to a thrift store get an old rotating music box and retrofit this little girl. Or make it into an ornament.. But I have a funny feeling once my daughter takes a look at it it will be hers (as I am writing this she found it.. Gone!).

Added one sequin at the base of the
snowflake for a bit of sparkle
The addition of the little pearls for her buttons and hair accessory is
just the right touch to wrap this design up!

UPDATE: I CREATED A COORDINATING CARD.

  1. This looks great and it's a fabulous idea. I do sometimes wonder what people who make lots of 3d objects DO with them all!

  4. Your little ballerina is so sweet, from the evidence in front of me I would say you definitely don't struggle very much with "non-card" items! Thank you for playing with us at the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge , “Buttons and bows”. We hope to see you back again soon! Karola, HJ DT, InvisiblePinkCards
