Fight Like a Girl

Hello Readers,

For today I am playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch. I was inspired to do this card for breast cancer awareness month. More abuot that later but I wanted to share my card with all of you.

White strip with white die cuts provide a tone-on-tone shadowed background
The only color, pink, seems to pop off the page.
Using a bit a more dimension with the banner.
I like the angle of sentiment and its pink color.
Detail showing a bit of bling on the
awareness ribbon (by Papertrey Ink)
Many women have experienced or know someone who is has experienced this terrible disease. A very close family member fought her way to recovery with breast cancer. That is why I am so grateful for October being breast cancer awareness month. So happy to get the word out! So let's all become more aware of our bodies. And to do self breast exams every month (click here to see a how-to) and mammograms when needed. For more information on awareness please click here to go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc..

For those of you who are fighting, or know someone who is, know that YOU are stronger than cancer. Just like the sentiment says 'Life is tough, but so are YOU'! For those affected I dedicate this card and hope it gives you spiritual and physical strength. May this card provide white healing light; please shut your eyes for a moment and welcome it into your body. With love, peace, and healing thoughts please take care.

Thank you so much for joining me today. Take care everyone and happy days ahead!

All the best,
Shawna
