| I wanted to keep the coloring a bit sloppy because of the sketchy nature of the stamped socks. I also enjoy the bubbles or suds that also adorn this card. Below/Left: This sentiment should be written on a plaque in a laundry room because it is a fantastic metaphor for life. Bottom/Right: I took a close up shot of this sock because my daughter colored it!! It is the sock that set the entire color scheme of the card. Yes, I'm bragging. |
The other day my husband wakes me up with some news. The kids are staying home because it is a snow day! Well, ice day actually- driving was so bad my husband came back a few short minutes after the start of his commute. Anyway, I thought I would take complete advantage of this situation. So we all went down to the basement and cleaned; all day long... Yes, readers, it was that messy. I actually have a picture of my son vacuuming. Let's just say he was far from having a good time. In fact, I think he was actually groaning. But when all was said and done we had a picture perfect basement that my husband could enter and not get disgusted... The real challenge will be to keep it that way. I hate to admit this, but I am the number one culprit to make a mess and not clean it right away... I think I feel a New Years resolution in my future.
Well, that should do it for me!! I want to thank Just Us Girls once again for being such fantastic hosts. I do hope you join their challenge. For me, it was great fun and I am sure it will be for you too. Take care and until next time, take care and happy stamping!!

ReplyDeleteOh, my, this is sooooooo super cute, Shawna!!!! ...and your daughter chose the colourscheme ...how fun it must be to have a daughter to have fun in your craft room, with!!!! She did an excellent job ...just like mommy always do ...nothing wrong with a little bragging, my friend!!!!! Really like this fun card ...for sure had me smiling!!!
