Dogs Do Go to Heaven

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today marks a new challenge over at PINspirational. Before we get to our challenge I would like to share my card, enjoy!

This is a lovely card for a recipient who has lost its best friend. I think it's neutral colors are comforting and calming.

This card has been printed, water colored using markers and an aqua pen. Each piece of stained glass was fussy cut and reinserted on another printout to create texture. The cross again was colored this time in gold paint and the white was cut out of shimmering paper. The Embellishments were self stick dots again added for texture and focal point. Below you will see be hard in the light and the card without light.

This is a good shot of the dimension on this card. There's visual dimension using the watercolored stained glass, cross, and the die cut dog. Also, physical dimension by cutting each pane of stained glass, pop dots for the already dimensional cross and of course our beloved dog. The simple sentiment says it all, I'm sorry for your loss.
Challenges Entered:

As some of us know, losing a dog is losing a family member. We lost our Great Pyrenees, Thor, September 10th 2001. The next day, as we all know, was September 11th the day the world changed. Later on we said that Thor was taken to heaven so he can greet all the fallen from September 11th. I will always remember him.

Well, that should do it for me. I hope you have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by my little byte of the internet. I do hope you will join us at PINspirational. It should be fun! Until then take care and happy crafting.

All the best,
Shawna
