Masking Leaves

Hello All,

Here to share a new challenge at The Male Room. For today we are experimenting with masking. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

This card would not be possible without a MISTI
and Post-it notes 😊. It is precise, detailed and very easy to achieve.

All the white really allows the masking to shine.
I also just adore this sentiment by SU. So simply perfect.
I used a stitched die cut to create a frame around my focal point. I think it grounds the elements of the card.
The trick with masking is to overlap your mask just a bit on the overlapping image.  This way it will be crisp without any gaps.
Challenges Entered:
Creative with Stamps: Challenge 18- Leaves

Well, that should do it for me. I hope you enjoyed your stay but more importantly, I hope you join our challenge at The Male Room. Until then take care and happy stamping! Take care all and looking forward to seeing you at The Male Room!! Happy crafting!!

All the best,
Shawna

  4. Striking design elements! And I agree, that little MISTI is an amazing tool. I'm tempted to strip all my old stamps off their wood mounts so I can get clean, clear and precise images everytime!
