Neg&Pos

Hello All,

Here to share with Y'all a new challenge at The Male Room. The challenge for the next couple weeks is to Use Metal somewhere on your card! I found this challenge interesting because I wanted to find a way to use metal as a centerpiece of the card, not just an accessory. So here is what I created for today, enjoy!

Chilling huh? The photo to the left shows the stamped image as a negative image. Once you move it into the light you see her face come alive!

Note: I usually get some comments on where to get this stamp.
This stamp is from Stampendous called 'Chilling'.
It is still in production and is easily found online or craft stores.

This photo is especially creepy. It is particularly shown in the light and in shadow. It just shows the transformation this image has when light vs. darkness.
The die cut is from PT and thought it was just as creepy as the image.
Sends chills down my spine... Seriously!

So how was this card created? Actually, it was done in a matter of minutes and made out of a tin can. First, I cut open the can using a utility knife (be careful) and straightened it out using a die cut machine. Inked up the image and embossed it using white powder. Heat set and done! The leftover tin was used to die cut the sentiment. Stacked it up using a some CS and adhered it down in place.

The effect surprised me! It took my breath away to see how it transformed in the light.

Well, that should do it for me. I hope you enjoyed your stay but more importantly, I hope you join our challenge at The Male Room. Until then take care and happy stamping! Take care all and looking forward to seeing you at The Male Room!! Happy crafting!!

All the best,
Shawna
