Autumn Sunflowers

Hello Everyone!

For today I will be playing along with the Cupcake Inspirations and Double D Challenges. I enjoyed their color palette; especially the brown! Here is my card for today, enjoy.

This design was done using a multistep process. First I stamped the flower image and embossed it in white. I then took bleach and brushed it all around the flowers and leaves. They became a soft yellow color. Perfect! Now the area was ready for color. I added color using watercolor pens without diluting it with water. This gives the panel and bright and vivid look.

It may be hard to see that I die-cut the word 'hugs'. I then built it up using multiple layers of the same die-cut. I think it doesn't distract from the beautiful scenery. Plus, if the recipient couldn't see the die-cut word right away I added the 'for you' sentiment.
Sunny sunflowers always seem to cheer the recipient. This one is going to someone very special who is fighting cancer and having quite a difficult time.

Well, that should do it for me!! Thank you so much for stopping by and do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. We will see you soon. Take care and happy stamping.
