Wreath on Weathered Wood

Hello Again,

Welcome to another challenge at MHKDesigns. As always, the theme is ATG and to use our color palette. First, I would like to share my card with you today, enjoy!

My card was a bit short when folded. Wha? I accidentally printed another copy of this design and thought it would be a perfect addition to the inside of the card. It looks nice and it shores up the card. Win, win!!

This card is well... Merry and bright! The background is a faded version of the Worn and Weathered digi paper pack. I thought it added a vintage charm.
I have to say I almost destroyed this card. I used the darker marker for the shadow on the wall. Three shades darker. Yikes! I tried everything to fade it out: lighter marker color, blending marker and tried to work with the dark shadow to no avail. It almost made it into the trash when I decided to make one last effort and use a white colored pencil to fade it out. Well, it worked! I couldn't believe my luck and so happy to see all those dark marks gone. During the rest of the project, I used colored pencils and used a scribble technique to create a bit of texture for the shadow.
That shoud do it for me! I invite you to join us at MHKDesigns and I hope this inspired you to have a go at this challenge with your MHKDesigns stamps. Like I said earlier if you don't have MHKDesigns product yet; no worries! You can still play along. The colors for this challenge are fabulous and were so much fun to create this card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Take care everyone and see you soon. Until then happy stamping.

All the best
