Semper Fi

Hello Everyone,

Today I am going to be playing along with CASology and The Color Throwdown. Both challenges incorporate theme and color which helped create this design. The theme seems to be something different from the norm. Anyhow, here is my card for today, enjoy!

Semper Fi:
is the motto of the United States Marine Corps
usually shortened to Semper fi from the
Latin phrase Semper Fidelis- meaning 'always faithful'.
Bald Eagle
US National Emblem of the United States of America, because of its long life, great strength, and majestic looks, and also because it was then believed to exist only on this continent.(source)

Challenges Entered:
CAS-ology: Week 299- Marine
The Color Throwdown: ctd492

So why on earth would I choose an eagle, an animal for the air, to represent Marine?  To be honest the first idea that popped into my head was A Marine from the United States Miltary. A different take on the challenge, but to me, it seemed fitting since Memorial Day is right around the corner. Thank you again to all our Miltary and their families. Semper Fi!

Well, that should do it for me!! Thank you so much for stopping by and do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. We will see you soon. Take care and happy stamping.
