CAS Rainbow

Hello Everyone,

Today I am going to be playing along with Addicted to CAS and AAA Cards. If you have read my previous posts, you would know I love rainbows!! Bright, cheery and energetic are the adjective I would use to describe this beautiful mix of rain and light. So, here is my card for today, enjoy!

Rainbows are beautiful. The rainbows on this card were created using Hero Arts Wave Stamp. I used the same stamp completely differently on another post. To see it click here.

After I stamped the sentiment I looked at it and thought: 'should I color the word 'color'?'.
Well, my answer was the same as my daughter's, no. I like it black and white, it keeps it simple and the focus stays on the real stars of this show, the colorful rainbows.
Rainbows were colored in an ombre rainbow effect using Copic markers.
Challenges Entered:
AAA Cards: CAS Game #117- Geometrics
Addicted to CAS: Rainbow

Have any of you been to Niagara Falls? If no, I must explain. The combination of light and mist from the falls create the most beautiful rainbows. Rainbows on top of other rainbows but what intrigued me the most was the rainbow circles! Circles were everywhere! It was stunning and awe-inspiring! That is what prompted this design. It was a spectacle I will never forget.

Well, that should do it for me!! Thank you so much for stopping by and do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. We will see you soon. Take care and happy stamping.

  1. This is such a wonderful take on our Rainbow code word, Shawna. I love the way you used that stamp to make waves of rainbows. I also loved your post and description of the rainbows at Niagra Falls. I was there once, a lifetime ago, in the middle of winter. You are making me want to take a road trip. Thans so much for sharing this wonderful creation with us at Addicted To CAS.
