Autumn Creatures

 Hello Everyone,

For today I will be playing along with The Paper Players and CAS Colours & Sketches. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

The 'flaming' leaves are from a background I created using a combination of 'the baby wipe technique' and sponging using autumnal colors. I then die-cut the tree and leaves and placed it on top of the autumnal paper. I die-cut the tree bark and laid it into the void.

The forest animals are from an old SU set. I thought its whimsical character was a perfect fit for this card. The proportions were kind of a problem but the critters seemed to be in good proportion to the tree.

The sentiment is simple and sweet.
I can see the owl hiding in the tree surprising its friends.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. Lots of good crafting vibes headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and healthy.

  3. Wow - that background is perfect for creating Fall leaves! Looks like trees turning in New England. Just gorgeous. And the little woodland folk having a little chat. Love it! Thanks so much for sharing it with us this week at The Paper Player! :)
