Nuclear Glow

 Hello Everyone,

Today I am going to be playing along with INKspirational. Their word prompt 'angle it' seemed like a good fit for my card. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I started with neon green paper and started the ombre by sponging Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn DI inks. The 'drippy' die cut is from Riley & Co. that I won from another challenge. I love it and works beautifully with this card.

I am imagining the green goo to be some radioactive material that glows and reveals the skeletons of living things. Spooky! The dog is angled reaching for his bone at the same angle as the goo. I die-cut the bone and added a few 'nuclear' gems around it for some sparkle.

As you can clearly tell this sentiment is made from two stamp sets. So I wanted to make them into two separate elements. I differentiating them using the same colors but reversing the order. Putting the sentiments on the same cardstock would look strange. At least this way it flows a bit better. I also wanted to ground the dog and I thought the sentiment would be a way to define the space.

Challenges Entered:
INKspirational: Challenge #223- Angle It

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. Lots of good crafting vibes headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and healthy.
