Time Makes the Heart...

Hello my CMHCD friends,

For today I am sharing our next challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare. We have a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for you that I think you will like. I would like to ask you to please identify your Row, Column, or Diagonal in your blog post. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

Most everyone knows the end to my post's title.
Time Makes the Heart Grow Fonder.
It just so happens to be what is stamped on the inside of this card.
The clock's stamp and die set is an old set from PTI (2013).
I searched high and low looking for it. I sent out a plea to FB Marketplace and someone had one to sell! Yes please! Best part, they didn't take advantage of my desperate situation and charged me a fair price.

Now for our challenge!

I chose Nectarine/Expresso/Bluebird

Shawna Standish

I dry embossed the background and lightly stroked the top with Expresso ink.
I then assembled the clock stamped and heat embossed the Roman numerals. Inlayed the center and blank number circles to match the background. It was involved, yes, but so pretty especially using this color palette. I would have to say it's 'timeless'...😂😁😶

I think this shot captures all the design elements on this card. The layered flower and leaves were stamped, assembled, adding dimensional adhesive to make it level with the clock face, and then placed the element on the card. Like I said before, involved, but again so pretty.

Well, thank you again for taking the time out of your busy day to visit my corner of the internet. I do hope you will join us at Color My Heart Color Dare and play along.

Lots of good crafting vibes headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and stay healthy. Until then take care and we will see you soon!

  8. This is gorgeous Shawna and I love that colour combination now that I've seen what you've done with it! There's such a lot of dimension and texture to your design. I love your story about the stamps and dies you'd set your heart on. So pleased you were charged a fair price - crafters are the best! Vicky x
