Quilted Hearts

Hello everyone,

For today I am playing along with The Color Throwdown, Less is More and Freshly Made Sketches. I thought that quilted hearts would be a perfect fit for these challenges.. Here is my card. Enjoy!

Using the paper piecing technique and die
 cut using the Lattice die from SU.
Entering challenges:

       We'd love you to display our banner

Sentiment goes very nicely with the warm feel of the quilt hearts

but they are also dry embossed for some texture.
I have a friend in the neighborhood who just adores quilting.. In fact she travels to Pennsylvania every for two weeks just to quilt. I think this will make a nice card for Christmas.. Paper piecing can be a bit tedious but somehow, especially today, centered me.. AHHH.. So after die cutting the lattice, adhering the pieces one by one, dry embossing them, and finally die cut them into hearts I think I can say it was a success. I also think my friend is going to love it!
