Today I am playing along with Double D Challenges and Card in Envy. Both challenges were so fun to put together. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
The balloons in the mood photo were really beautiful and inspired me to once again try the shaving cream technique. |
I like the butterfly touch. It gives the card a sense of whimsy. The circles on the sentiment seemed to be a perfect fit for the circle balloons. |
This detail on the balloons demonstrates beautiful movement of ink and shaving cream. Usually, when using this technique you would use multiple colors. In this case, I used only black ink. |
Young children are notorious for thinking in black and white! They seem to not be able to realize that many areas of life there are gray areas. And so was the case when I was driving a few years ago with my daughter. We were learning about how to read road signs. I think we all know where this is going 😏. I was driving on a 45mph (73kmh) road and my daughter promptly tells me she sees the sign. She was so proud- until she looked at my speedometer. I was driving at 52ish miles per hour. I think she thought I was going to go to jail. I told her that I wasn't really speeding... When in fact, I was and she was there to call me out. Needless to say, I slowed down.
Well, that should do it for me!! Thank you so much for stopping by and do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. We will see you soon, but until then take care and happy stamping.
All the best,
Shawna
