Flowers in a Jar

Hello All, 

For today I will be playing along with The Color Throwdown. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I must admit getting the color close to the inspiration was well...
Challenging!
I either was too pink or too blue or too purple- I feel like I'm in the tale, The Three Bears. Until I got a satisfactory color. Getting a correct purple or pink hue is difficult. It always takes me a few tries before getting right. 

The jar was outlined so nicely over the acetate, but the stems and blooms didn't stand out. All I saw was the jar. So, I took a small tipped Faber-Castell pen and traced the flowers. I wanted to keep them wispy and playful by carefully not creating bold, stark lines around the blooms.
