Purple Peacock

Hello my CMHCD friends,

For today I am sharing our next challenge at Color My Heart Color DareWe have a pick of at least three colors for our challenge I think you will like. I would like to ask you to please identify your color choices in your blog post. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I chose to use Blue Belle, Grape, Lagoon, and Canary for my color choices.
The peacock was stamped on watercolor paper using VersaMark ink. I heat embossed the stamped image in clear and went to work coloring using Zig markers and an aqua pen.

Now for our challenge!

After I was finished coloring the image I ironed off the embossing powder which left me with the lines but not the texture of an embossed image. This gave me an opportunity to sponge Stormy Sky DI over the feathers and Peacock Feathers DI over the front of the bird. This gave me the Blue Bella color I needed at the edges of the panel.
The edges of the panel were scraped with VersaMark ink then coated with white embossing powder creating the white border you see here. Also, I used a prefinished sentiment from a paper pad.

Well, thank you again for taking the time out of your busy day to visit my corner of the internet. I do hope you will join us at Color My Heart Color Dare and play along.

Lots of good crafting vibes headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and stay healthy. Until then take care and we will see you soon!
