For today I am playing along with Color Throwdown. Their palette this week is awe inspiring. When I thought about the colors I thought about seashells. Here is my card for today, Enjoy!
The shell background was stamped in charcoal ink then colored using PrismaColor pencils. I blended four colors for color and depth. |
Added a bit of sparkle with some sequins. |
Washi tape creates the banner for the sentiment. I thought the sentiment would be perfect for this type of card. I also added the flourish shell for a bit more charm. |
The stippling around the shells adds the texture of sand. |
Entering Challenges:
Yesterday my daughter turned ten. It seems hard to believe that ten years ago I held a baby that we so desperately wanted and loved so much. She has surpassed every expectation I had for her; she is kind, thoughtful, creative and slapstick funny! Ten years ago I had to start sharing my daughter with the world and I'm glad I did; because I believe the world is a better place with her in it. Happy Birthday sweet girl!
All the best,
Shawna
