Hello Readers and welcome back, again!
I have been so inspired by the Color Throwdown. However, I do promise this will be the last Color Throwdown challenge card. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I originally laid the light green panel over plain ivory CS. It was too stark it needed something, maybe a bit of texture. So I pulled out my collection of embossing folders and found this one. I think it adds just enough interest without making it too busy plus, the light green is void of any texture which is a nice buffer. |
I used the leftover die-cut from my inlaid card and used it for this card. This was done by die-cutting the lighter green leaving the negative space open. I then added the teal behind the light green. I inlaid the origami butterfly only by its body so that its wings could be projected out. Lastly I gently placed the sentiment on the wings.

A close up of the origami butterfly showing the teal showing through the light green negative space. Over those layers is the purple origami butterfly. Just fantastic! |
