Hello Everyone,
Today I am going to be playing along with Addicted to CAS, CASology, and Twofer Card Challenge. I chose my pet to be a fish; more about that later but first I would like to share my cards with you, enjoy!

Here we are showing two of my cards created using the same fish stamp. This stamp reminded me goldfish and a beta fish. |

Above: Lots of white space for this little loner. Some betas do not interact well with others. That is why I left alone in the vastness of white and some bubbles. Left/Below: I think the sentiment for this card is so fitting. These fish are loners and sometimes loners can seem like they are wondering. When in fact, they are just carving their own route in life. Right/Bottom: Some betas can be outright gorgeous. I believe it to be the case for the Japanese Fighting fish. The bright colors they adorn are stunning. |

Above: The everyday goldfish stuck in a bowl on the kitchen counter. The 'bubbles' are confetti that I found on the floor of a craft store. I was so excited to see them that I picked them right up. Yes, funny looks. Left/Below: I am told that fish have a memory lasting only eight seconds. That is why I picked this sentiment for this card. For me, most birthdays go to The Land of Good Intentions and then remembering and forgetting again. Right/Bottom: We have all seen them, the lonely fish with one lonely plant in the bowl and poor fish desperately trying to get any privacy that that plant could offer. Well, at least that is the story that is in my head. |
Challenges Entered:
When I was a teenager I wasn't allowed to have any pets. Why? Well, my dad despised dogs and I am highly allergic to cats. A rodent didn't appeal to me or Dad, but we both thought fish would be a good idea. So we get all the supplies and the fish. We always had three of them in the ten-gallon tank but two always seemed to survive together, Ferdi and Shortz. I believe these fish lived for three years and Shortz grew to be as long as a toothbrush. They survived through multiple room reorganizations which, that alone should have killed them. They stuck together till the end when Shortz died, Ferdi was a day or two behind. I have always said when I croak all the fish that have died on my watch will be in the Big Pond in the sky. Who knows?! One thing is for certain, Ferdi and Shortz will be the first to greet me. Good or bad I am still trying to decide.
Well, that should do it for me!! Thank you so much for stopping by and do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. We will see you soon. Take care and happy stamping.
