Hello All,
For today I am playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch and If You Give a Crafter a Cookie. Kind of an interesting story behind this card. So, let's see it, enjoy!

Welcome home and clock hands are indicators of time. Lots of times you are anxious to see your loved one home again. Why not give them a card to make them feel extra special? |
|
The bright colors of the panel contrast nicely with the neutral kraft background. The 'home' sentiment also pops off the page with its not-quite-white paint. I only used one layer of white so some of the wood would show through the paint. |

The clock hands and pearl were just lying around. Who am I to throw such loveliness out in the trash? So they sat, and sat, and sat on my craft table. Until now! A perfect blend of formal and natural elements. |
Challenges Entered:
How did this card come to fruition? Well, to be honest, I had too many bits and parts laying around my craft table. I pulled them all together and made this card. The clock hands were a no go from another project but they were way too pretty to throw away. The 'home' sentiment was just lying around and I must have moved it a half-a-dozen times.
The contrast of the red, coral, and blue is so pretty; then match that with the miscellaneous pearl and clock hands makes for a striking design. I would like to say my table is clutter free but I can't. It is now full of all sorts of odds and ends. So, until next time...
Thank you so much for stopping by and do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. I hope you all have a fantastic day and lots of good crafting vibes headed your way.
