For today I am playing along with The Paper Players, Stamp/Ink/Paper, and Less is More. Here is my card for today, enjoy.
One focal image colored using The Paper Players and Less is More inspiration The image was inspired by the SIP, one element |
Added just a bit of detail by piercing the paper around the framed element |
Colors are not traditional for a peacock but I didn't think it mattered because they are so pretty it is almost magical |
Detail showing the spotlight techinque. Notice the lack of color on the flowers. |

Beautifully done! Love the vibrant blue! Glad you shared it at the Paper Players!
Beautiful card. I like not only the card design, but also how your colored part of the image.
I love the layout and design concept for this peacock image, keeping just the framed part colored. So clever, and looking gorgeous!

Such a beautiful card, Shawna! I love that peacock image and it looks great with the spotlight technique. Thanks for sharing with us at Stamp Ink Paper AND The Paper Players!
The color selections and transitions are spectacular! It is so elegant and sedate but still jumps off the page to the reader. Great card!
I was referring to the peacock in previous comment "jumps off the page". I think some of the peacocks I have seen at Oklahoma City Zoo would be envious of your peacock!
Beautiful card. Where is the peacock image from? Tia
I love the way you used the die cut window with the stamp! Thanks for playing along with the Stamp Ink Paper challenge!
Genius that you only coloring the white part wow I lobe thus stamp and your layout...great card again my sweet friend..
