Colorful Dream

It has been a couple of days since my last post but I am now back to let you know there is another challenge at Make My Monday. For today MMM has a photo inspiration challenge to share with you. The photo is absolutely fantastic and, at least for me, spurred some awesome creativity. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

Started with a watercolor panel then came in with PrismaColor
pencils to add the swirls. So pretty and dreamy.

Details showing the colorful sand dollars, swirly sea, and its delightful sentiment. The design was inspired by our challenge but also the Global Design Project. Their sketch is simple and invited this type of card.

The photo inspiration came from Pinterest, of course. A place where time is lost in a sea of ideas, words of wisdom, and funny jokes. Seeing this pin inspired me to do further research on the artist. Her name is Colleen Wilcox and her work is fantastic with its movement, color, and composition.
