For today I am playing along with Inspired by All the Little Things and Sunday Stamps. Both of these challenges proved to make a fantastic card!! Well... I'll let you be the judge đ. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
My inspiration came from a trip my hubby went on 12 years ago to Chicago's Navy Pier here in the United States. |
The inspiration for the sun rays came from the sketch Sunday Stamps provided. I thought it would be a good way to showcase the Ferris wheel. |

Sunday Stamps: SSC146- Getting Sketchy
After this post, I have a date with my daughter to go to the mall. We will be picking out a dress for her Daddy/Daughter Dance this Saturday. She is eleven and there won't be too many more dances with dad so he is going to soak up every moment before she gets older. As for me, I will cherish the moments too because it won't be long till she is all grown up.
All the best,
Shawna ♌

I really love this die-cut, and I adore the sponging you did in the background to complete your scene. Beautiful! Thank you for joining Sunday Stamps this week.
Very fun take on the sketch! When I was in the Navy and going to my school in Great Lakes IL I went to Navy Pier a few times, very fun area to check out!
Thanks for joining us at Sunday Stamps!
