Today starts a new challenge at The Male Room. Our challenge theme for the next coming weeks is all about Gardening! You can choose objects, themes, and/or phrases that pertain to our theme. We want to see your interpretation of this theme. Just remember, to keep it masculine. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
I can say yes, this is a garden. A potted garden full of succulents. Crisp bright colored pots and hand striped border gives this card a southwestern flavor. |

The cactuses are a culmination of single images that was put together using photo editing software. |
Adding to the southwestern theme the word Spanish word 'gracias' means 'thank you' in English. The recipient will surely appreciate its meaning! |
Cacti or cactuses? That is the question! As noted, I am going with cactuses. Why? Well because the plural for octopus is octopuses (according to an NPR show about the squishy little guys. Scientists and experts were asked by the host which one was correct. The consensus, octopuses not octopi.) So, until I am corrected it will be cactuses. Thoughts and/or feelings will be appreciated.
Well, that should do it for me. If you haven't already done so, hop on over to The Male Room to see other inspirational cards by our talented design team. It is surely going to spark some ideas and then join our challenge. Looking forward to seeing you!! Until then, take care and happy stamping!

I think your succulent garden is perfect and works perfectly for me (far less likely to kill it :). I do like the pop of colour in the cloth. Great work. xx
