Hello Readers,
For today I am playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch. Last minute entry but I got it in! Here is my card for today. Enjoy!
I think what I found interesting about this sketch is you had to search for the sentiment. So I tried to incorporate that into my design. |
Focal point of the stencil is obstructed with the raised 'happy' sentiment Which is good it gives you time to look around a bit without completely focusing on the center. |
Color band reflects the colors on the focal element. |
Challenges Entered:
Like I said in the caption, the element that interested me the most is the sentiment is 'hidden'. When most designs call for the sentiment to be very visible or even the center of attention this sketch tells me the opposite. It tells me to camouflage the sentiment and have the recipient discover the entire design. I don't know if that was Leigh's intent but regardless it was a great sketch and I thoroughly enjoyed working with it.
Okay I am done for a bit.. Thank you so much for joining me at TheGrandStampede. I do hope you will stop by again! So until next time take care and happy crafting.
All the best,
Shawna
